Artist Intro

I'm Jennifer Osborne, creator of Jayelo Art. I am a microbiologist by trade, and I use my experience with details to transform everyday materials like coffee grounds, soy sauce, and ink into intricate compositions that explore growth, the microbial universe and quiet beauty. My work invites viewers to slow down, breathe, and look closely at the organic patterns involved in creating beautiful, subtle chaos.

Always Remember
"Coffee first then Microbiology"

And (drum roll!) I would like to introduce my "Unpaid Intern" (affectionately known as "Carl"), husband, and biggest fan, Noel.

Using coffee and coffee grounds in my art started as a accidental spill. But, then again, there are no accidents, right? Jesus has my back, baby!

My art is the closest I can get to bringing my work home. I'm fascinated by tiny forms — the microscopic world is breathtakingly beautiful, intentionally and perfectly chaotic. Yes, that's an oxymoron. But through my art, I keep illustrating that very idea.

Join me on a journey to appreciate the little things — the tiny miracles hiding in plain sight. God created them for us to marvel at their complexity. What better source of artistic inspiration could there be?
